The Final of 20.000 m Elimination Junior Women was truly amazing and, by giving all the way, the athletes ensured to the public emotions and suspence. The race started with a low rhythm that, as usual, become faster in the elimination laps. Around the middle of the competition, Chinese Taipei, Korea, Colombia and Venezuela took the top of the group and guided the race until the end. At 1 lap to go, the Colombians, Karen Bermudez and Luz Karime Garzon, tried the last sprint and being successful in getting both the Gold and the Silver Medal; The third place went to the Korean Goeun Jeong.
The first half of the Junior Men competition was quite balanced, with all the athletes in a tight group and many consecutive changes into the leading head: The rhythm was very high in a fair and increasingly spectacular race.
