Dear Inline Hockey World Friends:
Forgive the delay in the release of the World Championship schedules. Flawed communication delayed knowledge of the final team participation and the schedules enclosed here had to be redone several times before refined enough for release. There remains the necessity for conveying teams arrivals and departures to and from Dusseldorf, Germany if your team expects to be efficiently picked up at the airport and delivered to your hotel. It would also be sound advice if every team reconfirmed their hotel reservations directly with the hotel or booking agency, to avoid unpleasant surprises upon arrival.
We are informed that the German Federation hosting this World Championship received considerable support from the Benrath City government for the associated expenses of providing for the Women's Championship venues. For that reason, all the women's games, including the medal Championship matches will be held at the Benrath Rink as tribute to the pride the city takes in hosting this prestigious event. The schedule of games for the final two days of the World Championship on July 11 and 12, will enable most teams, both men and women to observe the complete World Championship final matches at both rinks. There will be separate opening and closing award ceremonies associated with both the men and women's Championship.
Another Bulletin #4 will be issued next week outlining the agenda for the CIRILH Assembly and election of the CIRILH President for 2008.
Click here to see The main body of Bulletin #3 as a PDF Document. It includes important information affecting team registration, early practice venues, laundry facilities and Game and seeding schedules.
If you need only Men Schedule click here.
It is also possible to get Women Schedule, click here.
Hope to see all of you with your fine inline hockey teams in Dusseldorf early next month. I will first be attending the Junior World Inline Hockey Championship taking place in Philadelphia June 28 through July 2, 2008. Until, good health and fortune.
George Pickard - CIRILH President
