The Rink Hockey World Championship reached the end of the first phase

After the eight games played today, the 42nd World Championship of Rink Hockey in La Roche Sur Yon has reached the end of the first phase. Now, we know the names of the teams that will play for the gold medal and the ones that will play for relegation.




Spain, Argentina, Portugal and Italy won their groups winning all the games they played. France, Mozambique, Germany and Chile got the second place in the four groups.
The last night of qualifications in the Vendespace has been very exciting. The venue was full with 3.700 people sustaining France in its goal to reach the quarter-finals. The home team got the target coming back over Angola and won the decisive match of the group A.
Wednesday, the World Championship take its traditional pause. The best Rink Hockey of the world will be back again on Thursday with the beginning of the second phase that starts with quarter-finals.
