FIRS 2016 World Inline Hockey Championships assigned to Asiago and Roana (ITA)

The contract for the assignment of the event to Asiago-Roana has been signed in the presence of Giovanni Malagò, President of the Italian Olympic Committee.



The assignment of the FIRS 2016 World Inline HockeyJunior/Senior Ladies/Men Championships to the cities of Asiago and Roana (Italy) has been made official today in the Sala delle Fiaccole of the headquarters of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) in Rome.


Sabatino Aracu, in the dual capacity of President of both Italian and International Federation of Roller Sports, Roberto Rigoni Stern, Mayor of the city of Asiago, Valentino Frigo, Mayor of the city of Roana, Angelo Roffo, Manager of the Organizing Committee and Marco Paolo Mantile, Representative of the Veneto region, all took part to the event before CONI President Giovanni Malagò.


The Championships will be held from June 11 to 24 and will see the participation of approximately 30 countries and envisages the daily presence of at least 2,000 people during the whole duration of the event with a consequent high revenues for the territory involved.
