The 2017 World Roller Games continue in Nanjing, China, with Junior Free Dance and Junior Ladies and Senior Short programs.

After many memorable free dance in Solo, Camilla Barguino of Italy won her first gold medal in Junior Worlds skating on “Memories of a Geisha” music with a flawless perfomance, silver for Portugal’s Maria Sousa performing the Broadway’s musical “The Witch”, bronze for Argentina’s Nadia Ortiz Villar skating on “The Great Gatsby” with a dynamic and fast performance.

In Junior Men Solo Colombia’s Brayan Carreno took the first step of the podium skating a touching coreography on “Grande Amore” by Il Volo, with a very high level edges, turns, body movement coordinating with the music, Portugal’s Jose Cruz finished in second place performing to a dynamic and original tropical-samba, bronze for Massimiliano Antonelli of Italy at is first World Championship.

Junior Ladies short finished with an amazing Rebecca Tarlazzi of Italy, skating on “The Great Gatsby” soundtrack, followed by, 2016 silver medal, Micol Zangoli performing to Whitney Houston, third Argentina’s Azul Romagnoli with a good program but some under-routated jumps.

After that is the Senior’s turn. Silvia Nemesio, the reigning World Champions, captured the Ladies Short Program, with an amazing performance. She is the only one female skater presentig triple loop on combination. Second place for Spain’s Monica Gimeno Coma performing to a very dynamic tango, but she made a mistake in the axel, third place for Italy’s Silvia Lambruschi, who skated a passionate “Je t’aime” of Lara Fabian but she got a wrong on the combination.

Exciting show in Senior Men short program, where Italy’s Luca Lucaroni took the first step defending his title. skating on “Love never dies”, based on “The Phantom” musical, Andrea Girotto, 2015 World Champions, came in second performing to an original spanish music, third place for Spain’s Pere Marsinyach Torrico with a very unusual coreography, presenting a bird life. He skated a divine short program. but with a small mistake in combination jumps.

Tomorrow competitions continue with Senior solo free dance and junior freeskating long program.
