The 54th World Championships are over and everybody draws his/her own conclusions. The skaters made a wonderful show for the audience in the rinks of Freiburg and for the public that followed the Championships through the streaming.
The wonderful Opening Ceremony by Michael Obrecht has entertained thousands people giving already an idea of what the show of the competitions was going to be.
The skaters, as usual, skated at their best. For two whole weeks, technique, colors, music, art, beauty a mix of all these elements entertained the audience.
To underline also the number of entries. The junior Ladies entries are the highest since the World Junior competition started: 34 entries for figures and 33 entries for free.
Thanks to all the officials for their job, passion and seriousness.
But this show would not have been possible without the fantastic work of the Organization Committee and of the volunteers involved in the two weeks of the competitions.
