What we have seen today in the Solo Free dance was truly amazing.
Ricardo Pinto (POR) won the Gold Medal with a perfect and enchanting performance: neither the "rocker" Alessandro Spigai (ITA) nor the Daniel Morandin's "animal instinct" could undermine his advantage.
In the Senior Ladies, Silvia Stibilj gained her first Gold as a Senior ahead of the compatriot Anna Remondini. The Bronze went to the host athlete Viviana Osorio who captivated the public in the venue with her energy and her style.
Earlier in the afternoon, the fourth day of competition had started with the Senior Ladies and Senior Men Short Programmes: once again, the Italian selection confirmed its excellence, with three athletes in the first four positions in both the competitions. The pluri world champion Debora Sbei leads the Senior ladies rank, followed by Monica Gimeno Coma (SPA), Silvia Nemesio (ITA) and Silvia Lambruschi (ITA). Luca Lucaroni (ITA), even though at his first year as Senior, proposed a fascinating performance and, after the Short Programme, he is first followed by the Brazilian Gustavo Casado and Andrea Girotto (ITA): only fourth, the defending champion Alessandro Amadesi (ITA) because of some small imperfections in the performance. The Senior Couple closed the day with their Original Dance.
Tomorrow the competitions will start 2.45 pm and will be live covered on FIRS Tv
