Introducing the Artistic Seminar and Campus 2023 in Venice, Italy

World Skate is organizing for its Artistic world two important appointments to prepare for the next challenging season 2024: 

  • The ARTISTIC INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR in Venice, Mestre, (italy) for Judges, Technical specialists and coaches the 17th and 18th of november 2023.
  • The ATHLETES CAMP in Spinea, Venice, (italy) for skaters of all levels and coaches for free skating and dance, from the 19th to the 26th of november 2023.

 

For the SEMINAR, the National Federations will have the opportunity:

- to present judges for the exams to become: “International Judge” for Free Skating, Dance (apply also for Quartets), Pairs, Precision and Show

- to present international judges for the exams to become: “International Technical Specialist” for Free Skating, Dance (apply also for Quartets), Pairs, Precision.

- to present national Data Operators to become: “International Data Operators”

 

Classes will be held by ATC AND high level international coaches and choreographers.

Gabriela Otten, Nicola Genchi, Seona Martin from the ATC, Lorenza Residori, Andrea Bassi, Luis Perez, Sandro Guerra, Sara Locandro, Alessandro Spigai.

 

The registration will take place through a Google Form available by clicking HERE

 

For the CAMP, all athletes must be registered with the National Federations affiliated to World Skate.

The classes will be held by high level international coaches, Lorenza Residori, Luis Perez , Manuela di Giacomantonio (Dance), Andrea Bassi, Pedro Romero (Components), Sara Locandro, Manel Villaroya, Andrea Aracu, Raffaello Melossi, Cristian Travaglia (free skating).

The Camp is open to the following categories: Espoirs (only Free Skating) -Cadets – Youth –

Junior – Senior and will take place in the following days:

19 – 20 Nov.: Free Skating (1 Group)

21 – 22 Nov.: Free Skating (2 Group)

23 - 24 Nov.: Dance (Int. Cadets – Int. Youth)

25 – 26 Nov.: Dance (Int.Junior – Int. Senior)

Focus will be on the 2024 Regulations.

 

  • Activities for the Free Skating Camp:

Technical lessons on jumps and spins on the rink.

Off skates lessons with preparatory exercises for jumps and spins, including the use of equipment.

Skating Skills lessons to improve and build on this important Component.

Flexibility training aimed at developing coordination and positions, especially for spins.

Choreography with instructors focusing on Classical, Modern, and Contemporary Dance styles.

Makeup lessons to enhance the complete visual package of the skater on the rink.

Video analysis of exercises and related insights.

 

  • Activities during the Dance Camp:

Activities during the Dance Camp:

Technical lessons on the rink, focusing on the 2024 dance patterns and elements.

Skating Skills lessons to improve and build on this important Component. 

Flexibility training aimed at developing overall body skills, mobility and coordination.

Choreography with instructors focusing on Classical, Modern, and Contemporary Dance styles

Makeup lessons to enhance the complete visual package of the skater on the rink.

Video analysis of elements and related insights.
