The 2017 World Roller Games officialy finished in Nanjing, China, with pairs long program and large groups event.


















The prestige of Italian pairs is undisputed since many years, infact the places in the podiums are all for this nation. In Junior Alice Esposito and Federico Rossi claimed their first World title with a passionate long program to Litz’s “Liebestraum”, silver medal for Sveva Capone and Federico Calzolari performing to a flawless “Carmen”, bronze for Argentina’s Florencia Cecconi and Tomas Masia that confirmed their third place of the short.
In Senior category the winners are all Italians. Rebecca Tarlazzi and Luca Lucaroni took their fourth consecutive gold medal, 1 in junior and 3 in senior, with a excellent performance acting the Holocaust theme, Sara Venerucci and Marco Garelli skated a great long program to “Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde” and finished second, bronze for Isabella Genchi and Alberto Peruch at their first World Champions in Senior.
Big show for large groups competition. This discipline has been admited in Worlds since 2002 and Olot of Spain have won 11 gold medals, 2 silver, 1 bronze till now. They are the greatest Large Group ever in artistic skating history: in 2017 they gradueted World Champion one more time with “I’m innocent”, silver for Spain as well with Cepa Girona performing to “Slaves of Wealth, third place for Italy’s Diamante skating a pleasant story of a producer.
